Fiberboard Wet Production Process

Fiberboard has been made using a “wet” process for almost a century and the finished boards have been used in a wide variety of applications including many types of building and construction materials, tack boards, table pads, fire starters, and commercial packaging.

Steico makes building products for virtually every part of a home!

Fiberboard Dry Production Process

Manufacturing fiberboard with a “dry” process is a new technology that that binds the wood fibers under heat, using a small amount of polyolefin fibers as an additional binding agent. The dry products also include ammonium phosphate as a fire retardant.
